Wichita State is coming into this game with a 13-17 record this season and they are currently 5-12 in the conference. They have had an awful season and their only hope of making it to the NCAA Tournament is by winning the AAC Tournament. They have won their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games, starting to gain a lot of confidence now, and they even have a road win against UAB in that span. They are going up against a Tulane team that is 13-16 this season and has been awful in the conference at 4-13. They have lost their last 7 straight as well as 10 of their last 11 games and have been in a complete spiral that they cannot get out of. They have also lost their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games at home as well. Tulane will also need to win the AAC Tournament if they want to have any shot at the NCAA Tournament but they have been awful in their recent games and are not coming into this game with a lot of confidence. This is a game that Wichita State can win straight up or at least keep very close in a loss as they will give this struggling Tulane side a lot of trouble in this game.
