NC State is coming into this game with a 21-14 record this season and they are 9-11 in the conference. They have not had a great season in the ACC and they were awful coming into this tournament as they had lost 4 straight games. Now they have been on fire since starting this tournament as they have won their last 4 straight games with some quality wins over Duke and Virginia as well, but they are also in an awful spot here as they get deeper into the tournament. They have been building a lot of momentum coming into this finals but they are also playing their 5th straight day here and it does not help that their last game against Virginia went to OT as well. NC State has played very well in this tournament but this is an awful spot for them on their 5th straight day of playing and coming off of an OT win as well, fatigue is going to settle in for them here. They are going up against a UNC team that is 27-6 this season and has been dominant in the conference at 17-3. They are coming off of a win against Pittsburgh in their last game and they have been very hot recently as they have won their last 8 straight games. North Carolina has also had no problems beating NC State this season as they won the 1st meeting this season on the road by 10+ points and won the last meeting at home by 9 points, but they are catching NC State in the worst spot here and UNC has the depth to make this game a blowout as fatigue settles in for NC State.
