Longwood is coming into this game with a 21-13 record this season but they were awful in their conference at 6-10. They have been playing very well in their recent games as they have won 11 of their last 12 games, but they are also coming off of a loss against Iowa State in their last game, losing by close to 30 points in the Big 12 Championship game. They are going to be hungry to bounce back here as they are ranked number 1 in the country and they have been sitting on that bad loss for close to a week now. Prior to losing their last game, they had won 3 straight games by 15+ points with 2 of those wins coming by 20+ points and that was against much stronger opponents in the Big 12 as well. Houston has too much talent for Longwood to keep up in this game, especially since Houston has the best defense in the country for shooting from the field and for points allowed as they average 57 points allowed per game this year.
