Dayton is coming into this game with a 25-7 record overall and they were 14-4 in their conference. They were one of the better teams in their conference all season as they finished the season in the top 3 and they have also been in the top 25 rankings a few times over the last few weeks. They have won 3 of their last 4 games, their 1 loss coming in their 1st game of their conference tournament which they fizzled out in, but they are going to have a lot of confidence coming into this game off of their last win. They beat Nevada by 3 points in the 1st round but that was also a game that they were down by 17 points in with around 7 mins to go and they pulled off a very big comeback to win that game. That momentum is only going to motivate them in this game and they are going to get up for this one so they do not get off to a bad start again. They have been a very good offensive team all season as they are in the top 50 for shooting from the field as well as being the 3rd best team in the country in 3 point shooting percentage. Even their defense has been good as they are a top 65 team in the country in both defending the 3 and from the field. They are going up against an Arizona team that is 26-8 this season and was 15-5 in their conference. They ended the season with the best record in the conference during the regular season but were eliminated from their conference tournament by Oregon. They have not been playing great in these last few weeks and they have 2 losses in their last 4 games now. They do have a better offense from the field but their 3 point game has not been as good as Dayton this season. Arizona also has a much worse defense in both of those categories so that is going allow Dayton to stay in this game and keep it close. Dayton will cover the spread in this game.
