AMEDEUS' NBA SLAM DUNK!
(NBA) Phoenix vs. San Antonio,
Point Spread: -12.00 | -107.00 Phoenix (Away)
Result: Loss
The Suns are coming into this game with a 42-29 record this season and they are currently sitting in 6th place in the Western Conference. They jumped up in the standings over the weekend and now have a half game lead over the Kings and the Mavericks who are both behind them in the play-in tournament spots. The Suns have been heating up again recently as they are pushing to climb the standings in the Western Conference and secure themselves a playoff spot. They have won their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games. Their last 3 straight wins have all been by 13+ points and they are coming off of a win against the Spurs in their last game, winning 131-106. They are going up against a Spurs team that is 15-56 this season and they are currently sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference. They have not been playing well in their recent games either as they have lost their last 3 straight as well as 6 of their last 7 games. They are only 8-27 at home this season and they are coming off of a loss against the Suns in their last game. The Spurs could also be missing Wemby in this game as he is banged up, but even if he plays, the Suns have the talent when healthy to bury this Spurs team just like they did on Saturday night. The Suns have been playing much better now that they are fully healthy and they are not going to pass up an opportunity here to beat up on one of the worst teams in the NBA, especially since they are in the last playoff spot with a half game and looking to keep that lead. The Suns will cover the spread in this game.
