He is not going to keep the Cardinals off the board completely here but he will do enough to keep the Marlins in this game, and this is a game that the Marlins will be able to score some runs in as well. Lance Lynn is starting for the Cardinals here and has been an awful starter in the league over the last few seasons. He is 0-0 with a 0.00 ERA this season as he allowed no runs in 4 innings in his 1st start against the Dodgers, but he also ended the season last year with the Dodgers and was bringing his best stuff for that game. He was still awful in Spring Training this year as he was 0-2 with a 7.90 ERA as he allowed 12 earned runs in a little under 14 innings pitched. He was not good last season either as he ended the season with a 5.73 ERA, and his last meeting with the Marlins was last season on September 6th, a game he allowed 8 earned runs to the Marlins in a little under 5 innings pitched. Lynn pitched well in his 1st start of the season but it is only a matter of time until he starts to unravel and with the Marlins coming into this game hungry still looking for their 1st win of the season, Lynn is going to get blown up in this game. The Marlins will win this game and get their 1st win of the season.
