The Pacers are coming into this game off of a 4-2 series win against the Bucks and now they are taking on the Knicks here who are a team that did not give them much trouble during the regular season. The Knicks did not beat the Pacers by more than 6 points in any of their meetings this season, but the Pacers also have not faced this specific Knicks team either. The last 2 meetings the Knicks were without OG Anunoby who has been a big part of their success since the trade deadline and their other meeting against the Pacers this season was a game that Julius Randle actually played in. The Pacers failed to cover the spread in game 1 against the Bucks in their last series and they actually lost that game outright as they were not prepared for what the Bucks would look like without Giannis in the lineup. The same thing is going to happen here as the Pacers have not really faced this Knicks lineup this season so they are not going to be fully prepared for this game and that is going to be a big problem for them as it was in their last series against the Bucks, losing their 1st game against a team with no Giannis and then losing another game in that series which was their 1st time playing the Bucks with no Giannis and Lillard. The Pacers are also coming off of a 20+ point win in that last game of their series against the Bucks and they have not been good when following up in that position. They are only 2-7 ATS this season as well as being 3-10 ATS over the last 3 seasons right after winning a game by 20+ points. They have also been awful at covering the spread in consecutive games this season as they are only 17-29 ATS this season after a game they covered the spread in, and that held true in the last series as well as they only covered the spread in game 2, game 4, and game 6 of that series. The Knicks are going to cover the spread in this game.
