He has also been very good on the road, allowing just 2 earned runs or less in each of his last 5 as well as 6 of his last 7 road starts. Lopez has been in form recently and going deep into games as well, pitching at least 6 innings in each of his last 3 starts and at least 7 innings in 2 of those. The Cubs are going to struggle to score runs here as their offense has been very inconsistent all season, ranking near the bottom of the league as well. Shota Imanaga is starting for the Cubs in this game and he is 8-2 with a 3.09 ERA this season. He has been having a great rookie season but recently he has been unraveling a bit in his starts. He has allowed 7 earned runs total in his last 2 starts alone and he has actually struggled at home recently as well. In his last 4 home starts, he has allowed 4 earned runs, 1 earned run, 3 earned runs, and also 10 earned runs which is his worst start of the season and his career. The Twins have been on fire recently and they also have an offense that has been one of the best in the league over the last 2 months. Imanaga has been good all season but recently he has been starting to show his cracks and the Twins have the offensive power here to make this a very long day for the rookie.
