Georgia is coming into this game with a 3-0 record this season, but they are coming off of a bad game. They won their last game on the road against Kentucky, but they struggled a lot in that game, only winning 13-12. Their run game was stifled by the Kentucky defense and Carson Beck was not very efficient as a passer when he needed to throw the ball. They are going up against an Alabama team that is 3-0 this season and they have dominated in all 3 of their games. They have scored 40+ points in all 3 of their games this season while averaging 8.7 points allowed per game in that span, and their lowest margin of victory was by 26 points against South Florida. Their run game has been very good as they are averaging 238 rushing yards per game, 5.8 yards per carry, but their passing game has also been very efficient. They are only attempting an average of 22 passes per game, but they are averaging 228.7 yards per game with Milroe completing 67.3% of his passes and averaging 11.3 yards per attempt this season. Kalen DeBoer turned the career of Michael Pennis Jr around at Washington, even taking that team to a National Championship last season, and now he is finding better ways to use Milroe in this offense. Their defense has also been great in both the run game and the passing game. Georgia also has a great defense this season that has been tough to beat, but Alabama has options on how to move the ball against this defense on the ground and in the air. Georgia's offense will be easier to stop in this game as they struggled in their last game against a better defense in Kentucky, only scoring 13 points, and they do not have a strong run game this season like they have had in past years. They are only averaging 145.7 rushing yards per game and 27 rushing attempts per game. That is not good for this offense as they are going to struggle to get the run game going against this Alabama defense, and Carson Beck is not going to beating this defense through the air, especially with the deep ball. Moving the ball is going to be more of an issue for Georgia's offense in this game and their defense will struggle to defend this new Kalen DeBoer offense. Alabama will cover the spread in this game.
