The Vikings are coming into this game with a 3-0 record this season. They have been tested against some very good teams in their last 2, beating the Texans 34-7 and the 49ers 23-17, but both of those games were at home. Their only road game this season was a 28-6 win over the Giants, but the Giants are not a great team and this will be a much tougher challenge for them, on the road against a better division rival and playing at Lambeau Field in that tough environment. They are going up against a Packers team that is 2-1 this season and they have won both of their games without Jordan Love. They struggled in their 1st game with Malik Willis, winning 16-10 at home against the Colts, but they played much better in their last game with a 30-14 road win over the Titans. Jordan Love could be back for this game now, but either way, this offense has some weapons to move the ball with. The Packers have been running the ball much better in their last 2 games and that will be an area on this Vikings defense that they can attack. The Vikings were very good last week at stopping the run, but the only daunting run threat they have faced this season was their game against the 49ers as they allowed 100 rushing yards to Jordan Mason alone. The Packers have creative ways to run the ball here and they will be able to move it against this Vikings defense which will also open up the passing game for whoever the starting quarterback is. The Vikings have been very good on offense in their 3 games with Aaron Jones, but now he is coming back to Green Bay and LaFleur knows exactly how best to defend him. That is going to hurt Darnold in the passing game as well, and he will not have the home crowd on his side in this one. The Packers will cover the spread in this game.
