The Bills are coming into this game with a 3-2 record this season and they have lost 2 straight games now. They started the season 3-0 and have lost 2 straight games against 2 good teams, but they played much better in their loss last week. They got blown out by the Ravens 35-10 and followed up with a 23-20 loss to the Texans in their last game, but that was also a game they were down early in and held the Texans to just 6 points in the 2nd half to make a comeback and almost force OT if it was not for some questionable coaching decisions late which cost them that game. They are going up against a Jets team that is 2-3 this season and they have also lost their last 2 straight games. They are coming off of a 23-17 loss against the Vikings in their last game and they have now fired their head coach as well. This is already a bad spot for the Jets, coming back from an international game in England last week, and now they fire their head coach who was not really the issue with this team. Saleh was more of a defensive minded head coach and the defense has been good for the Jets this season, the offense has been their biggest problem and this move is not going to change much in this week coming back from London. Downing is going to be calling the plays for the Jets now, but a big part of the offensive issues have been Aaron Rodgers himself as that year off due to injury last season is started to catch to him and his age. The Jets have struggled on offense all season, scoring no more than 24 points in any games this season, and the Bills have been very good on defense themselves. The Bills have also struggled more to stop the run in their games and the Jets do not have a very strong run game to attack them with. Josh Allen has also been having a great season as he has not thrown an interception this season as this new look Bills offense is helping him play better. He also went 9/30 last week and he is not going to do that again in 2 straight games so Allen will bounce back with a better performance and this Jets defense has struggled against the 2 strong offenses they have faced this year. The Jets have played great on defense this season, but 3 of their games were against the Patriots, the Titans, and the Broncos who do not have strong offenses, and they struggled a lot more against the Vikings and 49ers who both have great offenses. The Bills will bounce back in this game as the Jets struggle to bounce back in this tough spot. The Bills will cover the spread in this game.
