The Kings are coming into this game with a 1-0-1 record this season. They won their 1st game of the season against the Sabres 3-1 but they followed up with a 2-1 loss to the Bruins in their last game. They played a tough and physical game in that loss to the Bruins which also went to OT so this is going to be a tough spot for them on the road again in an afternoon game with a quicker turn around. They are going up against a Senators team that is 1-1-0 this season and they have played well at home. They are coming off of a 4-1 loss to the Canadiens on the road in their last game, but they did win their 1st game of the season at home against the Panthers 3-1 so they are going to be hungry to bounce back in this game. The Sens have a younger team that they have been building and they were not close to making the playoffs last season, but that will be the next step for them this year and they will try to take advantage of these home games where they have played much better. The Senators will win this game at home.
