The Falcons are coming into this game with a 4-3 record this season and they are currently leading the NFC South in a close race. They have been playing much better over the last few weeks as they have won 3 of their last 4 games, but they are coming off of a 34-14 loss at home to the Seahawks in their last game. Their offense has been playing much better in recent games with Kirk Cousins getting more comfortable in this offense, but their defense has been a problem for them. They have actually allowed 30+ points in 2 of their last 3 games as well as allowing 20+ points in 6 straight games, including a game against the Panthers who have been awful on offense all season. They are going up against a Buccaneers team that is also 4-3 this season and this is a very big game for them as they are tied with the Falcons for 1st place in the division, but they already have a loss against them a few weeks ago as well. They are coming off of a loss in their last game against the Ravens, losing at home 41-31, but the Ravens have been playing like the best team in the league since starting the season 0-2. The Buccaneers have had a very good offense in their games recently as they have scored 30+ points in their last 4 straight games, and they were leading the Falcons for most of the game a few weeks ago before blowing the lead late and losing the game in OT. This is a big divisional game for the Bucs at home and they are going to get up for this game with some revenge on their mind as well. The Buccaneers did lose their top 2 WRs in their last game, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, but Baker Mayfield has really been the driving force behind this offense and he will be able to move the ball even while missing his top weapons. Their run game has also been much better in recent weeks with their running backs by committee and they will be able to move the ball on the ground against this defense. The Buccaneers will cover the spread in this game.
