The Bears are coming into this game with a 4-2 record this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won their last 3 straight games and their offense has been much better in those, scoring 35+ points in each of their last 2 and 24+ points in each of their last 3 games. Their last game was in London, but they are also coming off of their bye so they are going to be well rested and prepared for this game. Their defense has also been great all season as they have allowed 18 points or less in their last 3 straight games and have only allowed 20+ points in 1 of their 6 games all year. They are going up against a Commanders team that is 5-2 this season and has also been playing very well all season with their rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, but he is not going to be playing in this game due to injury so this is not going to be the same Commanders offense that has been so good. Daniels only threw 2 passes in their last game before leaving injured and Mariota played very well in his place, but he was also up against the worst defense in the league in the Panthers. This is going to be a much different game for the Commanders up against one of the better defenses in the league and they are going to have the advantage now since the Bears have been able to prepare for Mariota. The Commanders have also been awful on defense this season, they have not played many strong offenses in recent weeks but the few they have this season have scored quite a bit on them. The Bears have been running the ball much better with Swift recently and that is only going to help Caleb Williams in the passing game as he has also been throwing the ball much better. The Bears have the much better defense here and that is going to be a key piece to winning this game. The Bears will cover the spread in this game.
