The Giants are coming into this game with a 2-5 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight games and their offense has been awful in these. Their offense has struggled all season as they have only scored 20+ points in 2 of their 7 games this year, but they have been very bad recently as they have scored 10 points total in their last 2 games. Both of those games were at home as well and they are going to struggle more against a better defense here. They are going up against a Steelers team that is 5-2 this season and has been playing very well. They have won their last 2 straight games and their offense has been on fire on those. They have scored 30+ points in each of their last 2 games and they played much better on offense with Russell Wilson starting last week. Their defense has also been great as they have allowed 15 points or less in each of their last 2 as well as 5 of their 7 games this season, being one of the better defenses in the league this season. They are coming off of a 37-15 win over the Jets in their last game and their passing offense was much better in that game. The Giants have not been bad on defense this season, but the offense has been putting them in bad situations all year since they cannot stay on the field. They also struggled to stop their former teammate on the ground last week and Najee Harris has been starting to break over their last 2 games, rushing for 100+ yards in each game. The Steelers will move the ball well on the ground here and that will open things up for Wilson as Hurts was able to beat the Giants deep last week as well. This Giants defense is going to allow points to the Steelers offense and the Giants offense will not be able to respond against this Steelers defense. The Steelers will cover the spread in this game.
