The Cowboys are coming into this game with a 3-4 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight games and they have been awful in those losses, allowing 30+ points in each game. They got blown out at home by the Lions 47-9 and then came out of their bye last week with a 30-24 road loss against the 49ers. The defense has been awful all season as they have allowed 28+ points in 4 of their last 6 games, and the offense has been struggling as well. They have scored 20 points or less in 3 of their last 4 games and they are going up against a Falcons team that is 5-3 this season and has been playing much better on offense recently. The Falcons are coming off of a 31-26 win on the road against the Buccaneers in their last game and they have won 4 of their last 5 games as their offense has been heating up with Kirk Cousins. He has been throwing the ball very well recently and the team has scored 31+ points in 3 of their last 4 games. The Falcons also have 2 very good running backs and Bijan Robinson has been breaking out more in their recent games so that is going to be a big factor in this game since the Cowboys defense has not been able to stop the run all season. They have been getting shredded on the ground all year so the Falcons are going to have success there and that is only going to help Kirk in the passing game who has already been playing very well. The Cowboys do not have a very strong run game themselves and they are missing some key pieces for this game so they are going to turn 1-dimensional very quickly in this game and it will make it easier for this Falcons defense to defend.
