The Texans are coming into this game with a 6-4 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games with their only win in that span coming by 3 points at home against the Colts. They are coming off of a 26-23 loss to the Lions at home in their last game after having a 23-7 lead at halftime, and they have been much worse on the road this season as well. They have lost their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games on the road. Their defense has not been great this season either as they have only held 1 team under 20 points this season, allowing 20+ points in 9 of their 10 games. They are going up against a Cowboys team that is 3-6 this season and they have been awful in their recent games. They have lost their last 4 straight games with 2 of those losses coming in blowout fashion, but those 2 blowout losses were also against some of the better teams in the league right now, the Lions and the Eagles. The Cowboys have actually lost 2 of their last 3 games by 6 points or less and they will be hungry to bounce back after a very bad 34-6 loss at home against the Eagles in their last game. Cooper Rush started for the Cowboys in that game and he was awful in his 1st start this season, but he has taken over for Dak Prescott before and has not been that bad in his performances so he will be hungry to bounce back at home as well and has had more time with starting reps now. The Cowboys still have weapons to attack this Texans defense with and the Texans have not been great at stopping the run this season either. They have also shown in their last few games that they are struggling to keep leads, blowing a few leads in the 2nd half of their games recently. The Cowboys are in a desperate situation at home with 4 straight losses and their season starting to slip away from them, they will fight hard to win this game and will be able to keep themselves in it at least, unlike last week. The Cowboys will cover the spread in this game.
