The Ravens are coming into this game with a 7-4 record this season and they are coming off of an 18-16 loss to the Steelers in their last game. They have not been playing great recently as they have 2 losses in their last 4 games, losing to the Steelers and the Browns. Their offense has been good as they have scored 35+ points in 2 of their last 3 games, but they just scored 16 points against the Steelers in their last game and they have struggled more against the better defensive teams they have faced this season. Now they are going up against a Chargers team that is 7-3 this season and has one of the better defenses in the league this season. The Chargers currently rank 1st in the league for points allowed this season as they are averaging 14.5 points allowed per game. They have been playing very well in their recent games as they have won their last 4 straight as well as 5 of their last 6 games, and even their offense has been heating up recently as they have scored 26+ points in their last 4 straight games. Their offense was not great in the 1st half of the season, but they have been improving a lot over the last month. Dobbins has been reviving his career on the ground with the Chargers as he and Gus Edwards have been a nice 1-2 punch for them, and Herbert has been playing much better recently as well which is going to help since the Ravens secondary has been awful in recent weeks. The Chargers have also been stopping the run well on defense all season and that will be a key piece in this game since the Steelers were able to slow down Henry last week and all 4 of the Ravens losses this season have been games they have struggled to run the ball in. The Chargers will be focused on taking away the run game from this Ravens offense and this is a game that Jim certainly has circled as he is 0-2 in his career against his brother and the last time they met was in the 2012 Super Bowl so Jim has been sitting on that loss for 12 years and his team is going to get up for him here. The Chargers will cover the spread in this game.
