Cornell is coming into this game with a 4-2 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They have won 2 of their last 3 games though and they are coming off of a 16 point win on the road against Iona in their last game, winning both of their games in that span by 10+ points as well. They are going up against a Syracuse team that is 3-2 this season but they have not been playing very well recently. They opened the season with 3 straight wins, but now they have lost their last 2 straight games. Those losses came against Texas and Texas Tech in a neutral location, but their other 3 games this season have been at home and they struggled in those games as well. They opened the season with wins over Le Moyne, Colgate, and Youngstown State, but those games were much closer in score. They only beat Le Moyne by 4 points, Colgate by 2 points, and they beat Youngstown State by 9 points but also needed double OT to do so. Their defense has not been good either as they have played some weaker teams this season but they have not held anyone under 70 points yet. Cornell is going to be able to hang in this game with Syracuse as Syracuse has not been winning any of their games this season by large margins. Cornell will cover the spread in this game.
