The Giants are coming into this game with a 2-9 record this season and they have not been playing well recently. They have lost their last 6 straight games with 3 of those losses coming by 10+ points. They have also released their starting quarterback Daniel Jones and they are coming off of a 30-7 loss at home to the Buccaneers without him. Tommy DeVito was not great in that game, but Drew Lock is likely getting the start in this game and he is going to be playing with a chip on his shoulder after getting overlooked last week. He actually won his last start in the NFL, beating the Eagles 20-17 last season when he was with the Seahawks. The Giants have also had a very good run game with Tyrone Tracy Jr. the last few weeks and that is going to help their offense a lot since the Cowboys have not been stopping the run well this season. They are going up against a Cowboys team that is 4-7 this season and they have not been playing well recently either as they lost their starting quarterback to injury. They have lost 5 of their last 6 games with their only win in that span coming against the Commanders last week. Cooper Rush played much better in that game, but he still played awful in his first 2 starts since taking over, losing 34-6 to the Eagles and 34-10 to the Texans, both games at home as well. The Cowboys do not have a strong run game either so that is going to hurt Rush against this Giants defense that has not been great recently but was much better early on in the season and they will get up for their division rival in this spot. The Giants have even been better away from home this season as both of their wins came on the road while the Cowboys have been worse at home, going 0-5 there this season. The Giants will cover the spread in this game.
