Nebraska is coming into this game with a 6-5 record this season and they are 3-5 in the conference. They were playing very well to start the season but they started to struggle more against Big 10 opponents and have not played well recently. They have lost 4 of their last 5 games and their defense has not been good in these games, allowing 27+ points in each of their last 3 as well as 4 of their last 5 games. They are coming off of a 44-25 win against Wisconsin in their last game and that was a huge win for them as that made them bowl eligible, but this is going to be a let down spot for them as they really have nothing left to play for now. They are going up against an Iowa team that is 7-4 this season and they are 5-3 in the conference. They have won 3 of their last 4 games and they are coming off of a 29-13 win on the road against Maryland in their last game. Their offense has actually been on fire recently as they have scored 29+ points in 3 of their last 4 games, scoring 40+ points in 2 of those games, and their defense has also been great as they have held opponents to 14 points or less in 3 of their last 4 games as well. Iowa has also been dominant at home all season at 5-1, their only loss there coming against their rival Iowa State, but they are a perfect 3-0 against Big 10 opponents. Both of these teams have been stopping the run well this season, but Nebraska does not have a great run game while Iowa has one of the better rushing attacks in the conference and their defense has been better in the passing game as well. Iowa will cover the spread in this game.
