The Rams are coming into this game with a 5-6 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost 2 of their last 3 games with their only win in that span coming against the Patriots, and they almost blew their lead in that game with the Patriots coming back. They are coming off of a 37-20 loss at home to the Eagles in their last game and their defense has been awful in recent weeks. They have allowed 20+ points in 5 straight games and that will be a problem on the road against a team that is starting to find their rhythm on offense again. They are going up against a Saints team that is 4-7 this season, but the division is still in a very close race with the Falcons leading at 6-5 so a win for the Saints puts them right back in this division race. The Saints were a disaster when they lost Carr, but even when he came back they struggled at first. Now they have won their last 2 straight games, beating the Falcons 20-17 at home and beating the Browns 35-14 at home, and they are coming off of their bye so they will be well rested and prepared for this game at home once again. The Saints have been running the ball very well over their last 3 games and they are going to be able to attack this Rams defense on the ground as they just got absolutely ripped up by Saquon Barkley last week, allowing 255 rushing yards to him alone. This has been a problem for weeks as well with both the Patriots and the Seahawks finding a lot of success on the ground too. This Saints offense runs much better when the run game is doing well and that is something that the Saints will have no problem establishing in this game.
