The 49ers are coming into this game with a 5-6 record this season but they have not been the same team that went to the Super Bowl last year. They have been riddled with injuries all season, including some key pieces missing in this game, but the effort has also not been there for this team either. They have lost their last 2 straight games and they are coming off of a 38-10 loss on the road against the Packers in their last game. They played that game in cold weather as well and they are going to be seeing more cold weather in Buffalo on Sunday night. They are going up against a Bills team that is 9-2 this season and has been dominant in their recent games. They have won their last 6 straight games with their last 2 as well as 4 of their last 5 wins coming by 9+ points. Their offense has scored 30+ points in 5 straight games and they have also won all 5 of their games at home this season. The 49ers were not able to stop Josh Jacobs in Green Bay last week and they have struggled to stop the run in their last 3 games as they are missing key pieces on defense. The Bills have a very good running back in James Cook and he will be able to run through this 49ers defense which will open up the passing game for Josh Allen to do some damage himself. McCaffrey has been back for the 49ers, but they have struggled to get him going in 2 of their last 3 games so this Bills defense is going to have no problems shutting down the 49ers offense that has been dysfunctional in a lot of their games. The Bills will cover the spread in this game.
