AMEDEUS' CFB SEC TOTAL OF THE YEAR!
(NCAAF) Bulldogs (UGA) vs. Longhorns (TEX),
Total: 49.50 | -115.00 Over
Result: Loss
Georgia is coming into this game with a 10-2 record this season and they were 6-2 in the conference. They ended the regular season playing in some high scoring games, seeing 50+ points total in their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 5 games. Their offense has been much better in their last 3 games as they have scored 31+ points in all of those, but their defense has not been great as they have allowed 20+ points in their last 2 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games. In their last 2 games alone they have allowed 21 points to UMass and they are coming off of a win against Georgia Tech which they allowed 42 points in after 8 overtimes. They are going up against a Texas team that is 11-1 this season and they were 7-1 in the conference. They have not seen 50+ points total in their last 3 straight games and their defense has been very good recently as well, holding opponents under 20 points in their last 4 straight games. Their defense has been good recently, but their only loss this season actually came against Georgia at home in a game they allowed 30 points. Texas only scored 15 points in that game and they were not able to do much on offense, but they are going to make the adjustments for this game and Georgia has not been getting better on defense since that game. Texas has a balanced offense that will come more prepared in this game and will be able to move the ball this time, but Georgia also found success in the last meeting and this is a game both teams want to win so the team that is trailing will waste no time trying to respond. Between these two teams, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
