Georgetown is coming into this game with a 9-2 record this season and they are 1-0 in the conference. They are going to have a lot of confidence as they are coming off of a 20+ point win at home against Creighton in their last game, and they have won 7 of their last 8 games as well. They have only played 2 road games this season, losing 1 of those against West Virginia, but they won the other game by 4 points against Syracuse. They are going up against a Seton Hall team that is 5-7 this season and they are 0-1 in the conference. They are coming off of a 12 point loss on the road against Villanova in their last game, and they have been awful recently as they have lost their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games. Their offense has not been good in these as they have scored 67 points or less in 3 of their last 4 games, and their defense has not been good either as they have allowed 79+ points in 2 of their last 3 games. Seton Hall has also been awful with their shooting this season as they are bottom 21 in the country from the field and they are a bottom 5 team from the free throw line as well. They have also been awful with their rebounding and do not have much of an advantage in this game. Georgetown is ranked 101 in the country from the field and they are also a top 100 team from the free throw line which will be a key factor in this game. They are much better at rebounding as well and their defense from the field is also top 60 in the country. Ed Cooley has been working his magic at Georgetown with their turnaround and after being the worst team in the conference for years, they will not take these conference games for granted now that they are playing like one of the better teams in the Big East.
