Iowa is coming into this game with a 12-4 record this season and they are 3-2 in the conference. They have been playing very well recently as they have won 5 of their last 6 games, but their only loss in that span did come in their only road game played in that span. They lost that game in the conference to Wisconsin by 31 points, and both of their conference losses this season have been in their only 2 road games of the year, their other loss coming against Michigan. They have won their last 2 games against Nebraska and Indiana, but they needed OT to beat Nebraska at home and now they are going on the road again. They have lost both of their road games this season, but now this will be their 1st taste of going to play a conference game on the West Coast. They are going up against a USC team that is 10-6 this season and they are 2-3 in the conference. They have lost 2 of their last 3 games, but they are coming off of a 10 point win on the road against Illinois in their last game and they will have some confidence off of that win. Both of their home games in the conference have actually been losses, losing to Oregon and Michigan in those games, but both of those teams have been very good this season as well. Iowa has not been as dominant in the conference as they do not have the quality as some of the strongest teams in the Big 10 and USC can take advantage of them playing in their 1st conference road game on the West Coast. USC has also been the much better team defensively and that will play a big factor for them at home. USC will cover the spread in this game.
