Wagner is coming into this game with a 10-8 record this season and they are 2-3 in the conference. They have not been playing well recently as they have lost 3 of their last 5 games and all 3 of those losses have come at home as they have struggled more in conference play. They are coming off of a 2 point win at home against Saint Francis in their last game, but that game also went to double OT as they struggled to get ahead at home. Now they are going on the road and have actually played well recently as they have won their last 3 straight games on the road, including their only conference game played, but they are still just 4-4 on the road this season. Even with 4 road wins this season, their offense has been much worse in those games as they have not scored more than 63 points in all 8 of their road games this year. They are going up against a Mercyhurst team that is 8-13 this season and they are 2-4 in the conference. They have not been playing well recently as they have lost 4 of their last 5 games and are still trying to get in a rhythm with this being their 1st season in Division I. They have also had a tough stretch of games recently, playing their last 4 straight games on the road, and they are coming off of an OT loss to LIU in their last game so they are going to be hungry to bounce back at home after 4 straight road games, playing much closer games in their last 2 as well. They lost their last game at home to Central Connecticut State, but they have been much better at home this season as they have won 2 of their last 3 as well as 5 of their 7 games there this season.
