The Warriors are coming into this game with a 1-0 series lead and they are coming off of a 99-88 win in the 1st game. They won that game by 11 points despite Steph Curry leaving injured early on and only playing 13 mins. Their defense has been great recently as they have held opponents under 90 points in 2 straight games now, but they are going to struggle to do that for a 3rd straight game here. Their offense has not been that great in these games despite winning them as they have scored 103 points or less in each of their last 2 games and they have scored 107 points or less in their last 3 straight games. Now they are going to be without a big piece of their offense in Curry and the Timberwolves are going to be hungry to bounce back after dropping game 1 at home in this series. They are going up against a Timberwolves team that was dominant in the last round as they won their series against the Lakers 4-1. The only game they lost in that series was game 2 on the road, losing that game 94-85, but they bounced back at home in the very next game with a 12 point win. Their defense was not bad in that last game either despite the loss and they have actually held opponents under 100 points in each of their last 2 as well as 4 of their 6 games in these playoffs. Their offense has also been much better at home in the playoffs as they have scored 116 points in 2 of the 3 games there, so they are going to get up for this game after that bad loss and try to take advantage of their opportunity to even up this series without Curry playing for the Warriors.
