Point Spread: 14.50 | -104.00 UCONN (Home)
Result: Win
NC St have a new QB in Brennan Armstrong who did not have a great season last year with Virginia, but will hope to get the air raid going against the Huskies defensive backs. This is a new offense and that they will need to transition into under their new Offensive Co-ordinator so that will take time. This is also a look ahead spot for NC State as they have Notre Dame on deck. This game is a home game for Conncecticut and their home opener where they have covered six of their last seven home games. The Huskies can take advantage of the Wolfpacks new QB and system and keep the game closer than what most think as they have improved through the portal with transfers. Their defense will improve in Mora's second year and their defensive backs should be able to a better job against the passing game. They just need to focus on pounding the rock and controlling the clock to at least be in this game. This team is more experienced this season and just needs to rely on their running game and improved offensive line. Take UConn to cover the spread at home.
