Last year this matchup was 16-6 and Georgia barely won the game. They did not look good against Auburn falling behind early last week and having to make a heroic comeback to win the game by 7 points. This Georgia team is not as good defensively as last season and the quarterback play has not been the best. Georgia has not played any tough defenses other than Auburn and now they will play a Kentucky team that has looked solid. They beat Florida at home and now they go on the road to play Georgia again in the same spot as last season. This game should be a lot closer and points will be hard to come by. This is a lot of points for a weaker Bulldogs team to cover so take them as Kentucky may surprise as they are 4-1 ATS this season while Georgia is 0-4 ATS this season.
Kentucky is 17-7 ATS when playing with 6 or less days rest over the last 3 seasons and 3-1 ATS this season. Kentucky as an underdog of 21.5 to 31 points is 2-0 ATS in last 3 seasons. The Wildcats as a road underdog are 5-2 ATS in the last three seasons. Kentucky after 4 or more consecutive straight up wins are 1-0 ATS this season, 5-0 ATS in the last three seasons and 10-2 ATS since 1992. Georgia as a home favorite of 21.5 or more points are 0-3 ATS this season and 3-10 ATS in the last three seasons. Georgia after 4 or more consecutive straight up wins are 0-1 ATS this season and 11-10 ATS in the last three seasons.
Best bet: take Kentucky and all the points.
