Morton has done well against the Mets in his career. The Braves with Morton on the mound won their two games at home with scores of 7-0 and 7-5 against the Mets last season. They also beat them in New York, 7-0. The Mets were only able to get those five runs with Scherzer on the mound. The Braves have the better bats, the better pitcher and bullpen in this game. The Mets have struggled this season out of the gate with their 3-6 record, especially in their bullpen. Teheran on the mound for New York won’t help them in this game as he is 0-1 against the Braves with an ERA of 8.18. He gave up a combined 10 runs and 4 home runs in his two games last season versus the Braves. He is terrible and Atlanta should win this game easily.
