Kansas City had mixed results in their last series, but they still walked away with a win and fell short in 2 of their games. The Padres have been strong on offense this season but Cease hasn’t been good lately. He’s given up more runs and homeruns in his last three starts and the regression is starting to show. Wacha has shown improvement in his last few starts, not giving up a lot of runs and walking very little batters and is starting to show some real improvement. They are 21-8 in home games and 7-3 straight up this season after having lost 3 of their last 4 games so they are really strong at home. This is a nice bounce back spot for Kansas City and Wacha. Wacha is 3-1 this season in home games and 11-2 in the last few seasons at home when the money line is +125 to -125. The Royals are underdogs at home and that is where the value lies.
