This game is going to go over the total. Games 3, 4 and 5 saw 7, 8, and 8 combined goals as Edmonton has found their offense in this series. They are going to be pressing again in this game to force a game 7 so their offense is going to open up again and Florida will have to respond. Edmonton when trailing in a playoff series is 5-2 to the Over and when the total of the game is 5.5 when they are at home, Edmonton is 3-1 to the Over. The Oilers also got goals from the power play situation so unless Florida can keep out of the penalty box, the Oilers are going to capitalize on those opportunities. Also, pulling the goalie and the empty net situation has generated goals in this series as well. It’s hard for the Oilers to go back to how they played in games 1 and 2 and it’s tough to put the genie back in the bottle.
