The Phillies are going to get another win with Wheeler on the mound and will get the support of the Phillies bats. Wheeler has been excellent in past games versus the Marlins with an 11-4record and an ERA of 2.72 and a WHIP of 1.059. They have the better lineup and bullpen in this game and play really well at home with a 31-12 straight up record. Even though Rogers has been serviceable for the Marlins, he still is 1-8 this season with a 4.90 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP. The powerful Phillies lineup is going to get to him and he’s going to give up some runs. Rogers has been terrible against the Phillies in past games, and is 1-6 when starting against the Phillies with an ERA of 6.99 and a WHIP of 1.683, and already lost his start versus the Phillies this season. The Marlins offense has been anemic this season and their bullpen ERA is near the bottom of the league and they are terrible on the road this season with a 12-25 road season record so far. Take the much better home team in this spot.
