MACK'S CFB THURSDAY NIGHT FIX!
(NCAAF) Sun Devils (ASU) vs. Bobcats (TXST),
Point Spread: 1.00 | -115.00 Bobcats (TXST) (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an important game for both. This is the first road game for Arizona State and they play a very good Texas State team that just crushed UTSA. They held the Roadrunners to 82 yards on thirty carries and they have an explosive offense. Texas State has a good program and they keep improving each season and return most of their starters. When Texas State last played a Big 12 team, they went on the road and pulled the upset over the Baylor Bears winning 42-31. This team is flying under the radar and very underrated. Arizona State stalled in the second half, only adding 3 more points while they allowed the Bulldogs to put 20 points on them; almost coming back to possibly pull the upset. They did not look good on defense and there are some questions with their offense, namely their pass game. The Bobcats have size that can challenge their offensive line in the trenches as well. The Bobcats are going to outpace the Sun Devils as they have too much firepower; they led the Sun Belt in scoring putting up on average 36.7 points per game. Arizona State is one of six teams that fall into this short turnaround week with the same amount of time to prepare against an opponent who doesn’t have to travel off an early start game in the previous week. Those teams have gone 1-5 against the spread and are 0-5 straight up. Arizona State is also 1-5 straight up in Week 3 and 4-11 straight up over 15 seasons. Arizona State is also 1-6-1 against the spread in their last eight games. This is probably the biggest game in the history of this Bobcats program, hosting a Power 4 team at home, so they will get up in this spot as they have shown in the past.

Best bet: take the points with Texas State.
