MACK'S NFL **NFC DIVISIONAL ROUND!
(NFL) Rams (LAR) vs. Eagles (PHI),
Point Spread: -6.50 | -112.00 Eagles (PHI) (Home)
Result: Loss
The Eagles block the passer well as their defense has been solid so far and top 3 in the league. Last week their offense looked a little sluggish as did Hurts, but that can be attributed to the conservative and cautious manner in which the team and the coach approached that game. This week should see a better offensive effort from them. The Rams however, got an easy win against a team whose coach was able to improve the team enough to get them into the playoffs, but where they lacked the offensive punch to go deeper into the playoffs. The Rams have also played inside a controlled environment/dome like setting for the last three weeks. This game is predicted to see bad weather, snow, wind and cold freezing temperatures that may affect the Rams more than the Eagles who are used to it. The Eagles already beat the Rams earlier this season by a healthy margin so they are positioned to repeat that as defensive minded teams have gone far in the playoffs and they have been able to manage the clock better than all other teams in the league. This is also a short week for the Rams and another road spot for them which is a tough place to be in. The Eagles have also won ten of their last thirteen games by more than 6 plus points this season and Hurts is also 3-0 straight up at home in his playoff starts. Philadelphia has been in this spot before and they should be able to run the ball and eventually win and cover by at least a touchdown as Barkley has another great game setting the tone for the Eagles. The key to this game will be the Eagles being able to effectively put pressure on Stafford as his stats decline noticeably when that is the case.

Best bet: lay the points with Philadelphia.
