Georgia Tech has been impressive on the ground so far and that sets up nicely against this Syracuse defense. Syracuse is coming off a game against Ohio where they gave up over 250 yards on the ground (6.5 per). On top of that, they lost key linebacker Marlowe Wax. Outside of TAMU transfer, Fadil Diggs, they do not rate out well along the defensive line.
Syracuse unveiled a new and improved offense last week against Ohio. Kyle McCord looked pretty good and the offense was efficient and balanced overall. GT has not faced an above average passing attack yet this season through 2 games, but have a very veteran group in the secondary and tend to play pretty physical making it tough on opposing offenses.
