- Northern Illinois probably has the upset of the year so far with their win at Notre Dame. They then had a bye and dropped a stinker of game to Buffalo. The offense does not scare me enough to be worried about how the NC State defense has played in a couple of games (Clemson and Tennessee.. much better offenses than No. Ill).

- A nice takeaway from the Clemson game was how CJ Bailey played for NC State at QB. Nothing has been confirmed who is playing this weekend for the Wolfpack but with a couple losses already there may be more of an inclination to move on to Bailey full time.
