- Two run heavy MAC teams in this one. Buffalo was originally the favorite and are now slight dogs. Not seeing any injury news to suggest the shift, so we'll take the points.
- Of the two teams, Buffalo is the only one with any type of a pulse defensively. Western Michigan ranks outside of the top100 in just about every stat that goes into the model. Buffalo generally does not get much in the pass game, but the opportunity will probably be there if they want it as well.
- Buffalo run D led by (Midseason AA) Shaun Dolac at LB, has been pretty solid outside of just a stinker against UConn and then Missouri (as expected). They rank 29th in Finnelytics GameScore which is the best unit ranking in this matchup.
