- Liberty is coming off a pretty embarrassing loss to previously winless Kennesaw State. This could take teams 2 ways, pack it in, or remind people this was supposed to be a G5 playoff contender. Liberty definitely has not looked as good as last year, but they will face a very poor Jacksonville State defense which will hopefully provide a nice bounce back game for the Flames offense.

- Jacksonville State is a very run heavy offense. Liberty is top-25 in rush defense YPA and is the strong point of their defense.

- Also some potential line overreaction because of that loss to Kennesaw. Hard to imagine Liberty would have been below a FG at home if they won last week.
