Edmonton Oilers (Moneyline) ..

While the Oilers had a bit of a rough stretch after the 4-Nations Face-Off, they've finally started to play better hockey again. Edmonton's now won consecutive games, including a big win over Dallas on Saturday. The Oilers quietly made some noise during the trade deadline and got a great defensemen in Jake Walman. That should help the Oilers in a big way coming down the stretch.

Buffalo is simply not very good. Even though the Sabres have some good players, it's still a couple of seasons away from being back in somewhat contention. Losing Dylan Cozens at the deadline really sealed the deal for them this season. They are pretty much done and just playing for glory/contracts next season. Expect the better team to come away with another victory here on Monday.
