North Carolina Tar Heels (ATS) ..

Although March is all about upsets and last second drama, I don't believe that Notre Dame's story will continue here on Wednesday. The Fighting Irish won on a controversial game ending foul that sent them to the FT line with less than a second remaining in a tie game in the first round of the ACC Tourney. Now, in the game before that, they managed to win a 4-OT game vs. Cal. Today, the Irish find themselves up against it against an opponent that badly needs this win and possibly even more to have a chance at making the big tournament that begins next week. That team is North Carolina. The Tar Heels definitely have the advantage of being called UNC when it all comes down to it. However, the Tar Heels must win this game and probably win against Wake Forest in the next round if they want to have the best chance in making it. UNC only beat ND by one this season and that was a road game for the Tar Heels. This game is much closer to the home of the favorites and that should favor them big time considering how well they've been playing lately (excluding the Duke game.) Expect a double digit win here for North Carolina.
