These teams have cooled off on offense, making this total too high, in my opinion.

The under has cashed in Maryland's last two games, as the Terps scored 55 and 68 points. They shot a combined 26.8 percent from three in those close affairs, significantly limiting their scoring potential. Michigan will let Maryland take plenty of threes (295th in average opponent 3PT attempt rate), but the Wolverines still hold their opponents to 31 percent shooting from deep. The Terps will be in trouble if that shot doesn't fall, as UM doesn't give up many near-proximity shots (24th in NP attempt rate) and holds its opponents to 54.6% at the rim (57th).

Michigan has also been off the mark on offense, scoring 62 points against Michigan State, 498 against Nebraska and 73 against Illinois. While it pushed past the 80-point mark versus Rutgers, the Knights' defense (115th in defensive efficiency) pales in comparison to Maryland's unit (12th).

Neither team fouls much (14th and 17th in opponent FT attempt rate), and neither comes into this matchup with juice on offense (339th and 354th in offensive momentum). While they are high-tempo teams, recent trends lead me to believe they won't combine for 154 points on Wednesday night.
