Carlos Carasco has struggled mightily since mid-July. He surrendered 24 earned runs in his last three outings of July and has had two poor outings this month (six runs and two HRs to Kansas City and a three-inning dud vs. Pittsburgh). The Mets have been playing better baseball lately, but I don't expect a quality start from the NY starter on Sunday.

Dakota Hudson, on the other hand, has been dependable since moving into the starting rotation, winning all three of his August outings (eight runs in 18.2 combined innings). I believe he'll get enough run support to turn in a solid performance on Sunday, beating the Mets.
