New York vs. Houston (Under 8.5)
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Houston,
Total: 8.50 | -110.00 Under
Result: Win
Has Yankees starter Carlos Rodón turned a corner? I believe so, as he's held his last two foes to three combined runs and struck out seven Rays in his last outing. The big lefty has held all but one of his opponents (eight) to four or fewer hits, as well. He gave up five runs on three hits vs. Houston earlier this month, but I feel confident that poor performance will serve as his motivation to turn in another quality start on Friday.

Astros starter Justin Verlander has been locked and loaded since returning to Houston at the trade deadline, posting a 2.79 ERA in five starts and holding his last two opponents scoreless. He allowed two runs in seven innings vs. NY earlier this month. The future HOFer sports a 2.27 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP in 11 home starts with the Mets and Astros this season.

These teams boast two of the game's best bullpens, as well!
