I'm betting on the Rangers' lineup to get the best of Twins starter Dallas Keuchel, who is making consecutive starts against Texas. This will be the lefty's fifth appearance all season... He held Texas in check on August 27, but that's not going to be the case on Saturday on the road. The Rangers have hit left-handers well all season, slashing .280 BA/.355 OBP/.461 SLG/.816 OPS. They've been especially deadly at Globe Life Field (.279/.351/.497/.848), where they score 6.0 runs per game.
Rangers starter Jordan Montgomery has a 2.30 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP in five starts with Texas since being acquired at the trade deadline from St. Louis, where he was having a fine season (3.42 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP in 21 outings). The Twins hit .228/.308/.391/.699 on the road and just .230/.299/.402/.701 vs. left-handed pitchers, striking out in 28 percent of their ABs.
I'll bet on Texas to win comfortably at +100 tomorrow night!
