Clemson vs. Duke (Tigers -12.5)
(NCAAF) Clemson vs. Duke,
Point Spread: -12.50 | -110.00 Clemson (Away)
Result: Loss
Clemson is undervalued and Duke is overvalued. The Tigers have a strong offensive line, returning four offensive line starters (99 career FBS starts), and a great RB in Will Shipley (1,100 yards, 15 TDs). QB Cade Klubnik will have a breakout season under new OC Garrett Riley, the man behind TCU's explosive, high-scoring offense. The Tigers have star talent all over the place, especially in the secondary, where all four starters return.

The Devils were +16 in turnover differential last season and struggled in pass defense. They added a couple of transfers to change that, but I doubt they'll be a cohesive lockdown unit in week one. Besides, there's a clear talent advantage on the other sideline. Duke won nine games last year, but it should be getting more points against a Clemson team that will be eager to prove they belong in the discussion for the ACC title after seeing what Florida State did on Sunday vs. LSU.

Bet on the Tigers' explosiveness to give them the edge, winning and covering on MNF.
