Clemson transfer QB Billy Wiles threw for 267 yards and three touchdowns, Frank Gore Jr. rushed for a score, and Jakarius Caston hauled in five passes for 104 yards and a TD. Caston replaces Jason Brownlee as the team's top receiving threat — you may know Brownlee from Hard Knocks. He and Ty Mims give Southern Miss two deep threats that could keep this game closer than expected. The SoMiss defense was great at creating pressure last season and should reach the 100 tackle-for-loss mark again in 2023. If the Eagles can create chaos, a couple of FSU's drives will stall out.
