I'm wagering on Mizzou to cover Tuesday against a Kentucky squad coming off a tightly-contested win at Florida. The Wildcats started slow in that game, needing a big second-half performance to pull out the two-point win. Had the Gators, who led for 30 minutes of Sunday's game, been able to hit a couple more threes (9-for-31), they wouldn't have been so fortunate.

There's no denying that Mizzou has played sub-par basketball lately, but I feel confident it can respond on the road. The Tigers are a good offensive team, but they shot below their average from three-point range and didn't get to the foul line often enough last game. Considering that they shoot 76.8 percent from the charity stripe, 22nd-highest in the nation, I would be surprised if they don't force their way to the line more often tomorrow. On the other side of the court, their rim defense figures to be impactful, as they block 15.1 percent of their opponents' rim shots and rank seventh nationally in blocks per game.
