RU's offense has been awful this season. It gets to the foul line often, but the Hoosiers rarely foul, and the Knights shoot just 67% at the free-throw line, anyway. Rutgers shoots 29.1% from three-point range and 45.3% from two-point range and doesn't find open looks (341st in Open 3 rate). It has also struggled on the boards (120th in offensive rebounding and 297th on defense).

The Hoosiers aren't a much better rebounding squad, so I don't expect extra possessions or putbacks for either team. While putrid offensively, RU's defense is solid, especially inside (21st defensively in points per possession at the rim). IU ranks 355th in three-point attempt rate and Rutgers' opponents shoot only 31.7% on them from deep, as well. As long as Rutgers doesn't foul too often, its rim and three-point defense will make it challenging for the Hoosiers to consistently put points on the scoreboard.
